about me

HELLO, I’M TORRE!

I am a born, raised, and stayed BUCKEYE! Hilliard, Ohio a suburb of Columbus is home. My life is busy and wonderfully full between being an entrepreneur, a wife to Marc, a Mom to Marin, a collegiate tennis player and Tucker, a high school power lifter and to Tripp a playful Goldendoodle.

I have been an athlete for the majority of my life, tennis being my main sport and great passion. I found the gift of running in my late-30s and have since completed many half marathons, as well as my first full marathon in 2019 at the age of 45.

I am very active within the Columbus running community, I am Pace Coach with Marathoners in Training (MIT), and serve on the MIT Culture Committee as the Event Lead. I also represent M3SSPORTS as an Ambassador and have done so for the last 5 years, this last year as the Ambassador Captain-I truly love this volunteer job it fills my bucket in every way!

When I am not playing tennis or running, I am oftentimes at the gym lifting weights, on a yoga mat, in a cycle class or doing a workout with my personal trainer. Being active, healthy and building my mind and body strength is extremely important to me.

Being a SPORTS MOM I have experienced all sides of the world of sport. Learning the ins and outs/systems of teams, schools, athletic departments etc. I served as on the HDHS Athletic Boosters for two years, one year as President. I also volunteered as the “TENNIS MOM” for four years for Marin’s team handling everything from uniforms to spiritwear to fundraising to event planning. When Tucker was playing football I joined the Touchdown Club, (the parent support arm of the football team) I learned even more through that experience and earned a great understanding of how a large team with many coaches etc functions.

All these life experiences have lead me here…I LOVE being an athlete, I LOVE coaching and cheering on athletes-seeing the grit, determination and the rise from that hard work. I feel very much called to coach, mentor and support my fellow female athletes. We have come so far but we still have work to do…if I can be just a small part of a female athletes story, in her growth, in her love of the game then I have given back to all of the female athletes who came before-that gave us the right to play.

I am here. STANDING IN MY POWER. Ready for you to stand in yours.
